EotN is the most graphically demanding game out of the four, followed by nightfall, then factions and prophecies.

nightfall, and especially EotN, uses DX9c. your integrated graphics only supports DX8 i believe, which will cause it to choke mightly in EotN areas.

k i got some screens of the game.I couldent get in game ones yet because im getting an error report wen i tri to get6 in for somereason. Anyways i think the slowness might also have to do with the server because when i go into the open free space out of the towns it works faster than in the citys and towns with lots of people in them. The first screen is better than the second because the fog in the secis very pixelated looking.

yep, your system is running the DX8 codepath, which has the bad looking fog and lines in the background. there's really nothing you can do about it.

no you can't. your integrated graphics can only support DX8. it will never use DX9, even if you install it. it will just keep running the DX8 codepath, since DX9 is backwards compatible to DX8 (and DX7, 6, 5, etc).

even if it CAN DX9, your performance will go down, since DX9 require better hardware.

EDIT: the reason why your system runs faster outside towns, is because the integrated graphics no longer have to render/animate all the other character models, which improves performance. your internet connection will have little, if anything, to do with it. bad internet connections CAN affect graphics performance, but only if your system is not limiting performance in the first place.
